    Can you please add Hong Kong to the list of countries? This will be very helpful for me.

    Other than that, I must thank you for the tool, I have seen that it is a massive time saver coz I have processed large keyword lists and the results were unbelievably quick.

      Hi Jayson, I shall endeavour to add Phillipines as soon as I can … The schedule is getting tight, but I shall try my level best to include this for you.
      There is however a temporary workaround that you can use if you want to use Phillipines, or any other country for that matter.
      Select United States from the dropdown (this will make the software default to google.com) and then just make sure you have the target city or location added to the keyword, e.g. italian restaurants manila … You can use the prefix and suffix adder to easily add the location. Although this is not the perfect scenario, I have generally seen that if you have the location specifically mentioned as part of the keyword, the results are generally the same – there have been a few very minor exceptions during my testing, but it definitely works for over 95% of the keywords, so you cant go too wrong. You can actually test this yourself by selecting United States and running the extract, then select another country of your choice and run the extract again (for the same keywords) – then do your comparison. There will surely be differences, but minor. Let me know if this helps in the interim.

      Hi Felix, glad you are happy about Malaysia being added.
      I don’t have any courses as yet, however I am working on a very low priced course which will introduce free software that will teach how to get leads of local seo clients. There are a bunch of overpriced softwares that do this work currently, however they are all horribly pricey for the value they provide, especially when there are free tools available that do this in a superior fashion – people just don’t know. So watch this space if you are looking to learn more about Local SEO.

    Your website has fake links on the article list to the right. Also, this merry-go-round with finding the FREE google places software is ridiculous. Round and round we go ….where we stop no body knows! Why not just put a link on the page you send us too?

  • Hello, I just bought the citation finder software and played around with the pack finder and it seems as if it is showing false results. For example, “seo software tampa” showed up as having a 2 pack, but this is incorrect. Any help on this would appreciated thanks.

  • I just downloaded the free version to evaluate it for use in the UK before getting the paid version to gain the citation feature.

    But I’ve just tested some keywords which definitely result in a Google Places map being shown and the tool says no placecount for them in the UK. has this tool stopped working since Google moved the map to the top of the right hand column

  • Thanks for sending out the email about the update. This is a handy piece of software. I see myself picking up the Citation Finder soon too – - that is a great idea and will be helpful in finding those extra little citation sources that might be tedious to dig up otherwise.

    Hi Huss,
    Am using version 3.0 in the UK and i get no results for anything i place in. I have looked at the video and notice that you have a local box which you can put in the locality eg “illinois”.. Mine is missing and i don’t get this for any search. I am looking at getting search results for kent area however mostly i am getting searches related to Liverpool automatically.

    Please help out as i’d like to use this with the citation finder asap.

      Hi Andy, clear the internet explorer cache by going to Tools > Options > Delete Browsing History and make sure that at least Temporary Internet Files and Cookies are checked, then click delete. After thats done, go back to Pack Finder Google Settings Tab and set your google location by selecting UK from the google sites dropdown. Type any keyword, eg “restaurants” and if you are in liverpool, google will automatically default to liverpool. You will notice on the left hand side next to the google results, there is an option – it says “Change Location”. Click on that and set the new location to Kent. You are now good to go Pack Finding. Enjoy!

  • Please let me know what I am doing wrong… when you start your sample video above, it shows Google in the “browser” box as you are doing your “settings”. When I start up my software, a notepad of code pops up and another box asking if I want to save or open (It was already installed in programs). I click the tab for USA in the settings but nothing comes up in the “browser” section below like your video. If I proceed to put keywords in the Packfinder tab, it just runs forever and does not give results… I have to close it down. Please advise because this is such a great piece of software… I don’t want to give up! Thanks so much for offering it complimentary… helps us newbies!

    Hello – I Just downloaded the software and tested it out. I set it for the US and I live in “mclean va” and when I do a search for “floral preservation” or “floral preservation mclean va” it comes up with 0. It should show a 3 pack but does not. I even used the example you used in the video of “restaurants” and it still came back 0. Not sure what I might be doing wrong. Thanks for your time in advance.
